Summary
A group of advocacy organizations sued to challenge the legality of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The plaintiffs alleged that the creation of DOGE did not comply with FACA and requested that the court halt DOGE’s actions until they met the regulations set by FACA.
On February 18, 2025, this case was consolidated with American Public Health Association v. Office of Management and Budget and Lentini v. Department of Government Efficiency.
